A requirement of the Junior MBA programme is the creation of a student’s own business idea and a final presentation detailing the elements of their idea. Students of the programme are taught how a pain point can lead to an idea and how to develop that idea into a business plan.

Students will also learn presentation skills in preparation for their final project. These lifelong skills integrate Oracy into the Junior MBA programme as students are given the ability to articulate ideas and effectively communicate their ideas through spoken language.

Students of the Junior MBA programme will learn about pain points and how to create a business idea that will address these real-world problems. Their business ideas should provide a technical/engineering solution to the problem their business is addressing.

For this final project, students are required to collect and analyse data relating to a business’s potential pricing structure and location. They are expected to draw conclusions from their data to justify their decisions on these factors.

Our Junior MBA speakers are entrepreneurs who have founded and developed their own businesses. The speakers support students of the Junior MBA programme with their final projects through discussions on how they initially started their businesses.

These local entrepreneurs share their real-life experiences with Arcadia students to provide insights into the UAE’s world of business. Students gain a deeper understanding of the requirements for creating a business in the UAE and are able to utilise this knowledge in their final projects.
